Well, guess it's time to say bye-bye once again.. Another blog of mine that goes down the drain. Haha.. I wanted to blog, and yet, I just don't have the time to blog. Perhaps, without blogging, I can save a few megabytes of harddisk space and some resources in the broadband.
It's been a great few months of blogging. To my fellow readers (whoever you are, and if you really read it), thanks a lot for your support.
Take care, everyone.

First Week at Work
Today, I am grateful for the dinner I had with my friends. It had been ages since I last saw them (though it was actually just one week :P). We talked about our work, our accommodation, and the usual stuff. Haha. It is a bliss to be together with your friends =)
Well, it finally has happened. I stepped into the working world. The first week went off - without a blast, unsurprisingly. Orientation (or rather on-boarding session) on Monday took half day and I settled my IT-related work (setting up my laptop) till Tuesday. For the rest of the days, I spent the morning in the office reading documents while having a tour at the factory in the evening. Life there is good - helpful colleagues, conducive working environment, fast-paced yet manageable work, with cool benefits (there is even a gym and a swimming pool for us, hehe).
Officially, work ends at 530pm but I usually reached to my place around midnight. The reason? Chit-chatting with my friend. The topics varied - movies, musics, studies, entertainment, food, and of course on our lives. Haha. And the friend? You know who you are :P
And here, are some links for you. Enjoy!
It is gruesome, it is gory, and it is Calvin and Hobbes :P
My msn nick used to have this quote - "Be faithful in small things because it is in them that your strength lies" by Mother Teresa. And this website shows how an old guy shows his affections to his better half.
For cat-lovers, this is a medley for you :P
For you who like illusions...
For the people who likes arts, an origami tutorial for you.
In time of stress, this meditation will relieve you of your stress. Close your eyes and let it heals =)
A collection of photos - some good, some bad, some are just too much. Haha.
Open-source programs anyone?
New rules to those in the dating scene. Quoted from the last new rule :"When it's true love, thinking about this person makes you feel good". Isn't it so true? =)
Well, guess that's all for today. Seemingly, my schedule is kinda pack. And thus, I only have time to blog once a week. And so, perhaps I have more interesting things to write then? Haha, until then, take care everyone. It's time for me to sleep once again... zzZZzzZZzzzZzzZZZzzzzz....

A New Dawn..
What am I grateful of today? Well, for starters, I am grateful that I have a place to stay now, though I only sleep on the floor. I have ended my tenure at my hostel and have to stay at my friend's room indefinitely. Well, it won't take a long time, max to one month time. Somehow, I do feel happy sleeping on the floor. LOL. (Am I insane?) I should face some adversaries every now and then, since I had been having things easy till I take things for granted. @.@ (Self-punishment? Although I would rather say that I prefer to view it as 'looking at the brighter side of life'. Besides, optimists tend to live longer :P)
Read through someone's blog that she met a person at wrong timing. So did I. So did I.. (But who cares.)
Well, I had done my PR application and now, all I can do is to wait to start work tomorrow. LOL. Just like a kid, can't wait for something. Let's keep the flame (passion) burning. Hope it won't die out so fast, else what am I going to do? Haha.. Having said that, the chance of it dimming is low because my company is a good one - good welfare, nice environment, and has everything that I asked for. Haha.
And now, here are some links for you. The theme for today would be on financial planning, something that we, working adults, should learn about =)
Income can come in many ways..
102 tips to live a better life. That is if you can survive through the steps :P but it is manageable =)
Frugality is key.
This shows what we have been doing since day1 in kindergarten.
A joke - with the hotel. All I know is soap is going to give him nightmares :P
The so-called "productive" waste-time activities.. Remind me of a segment in Class95. Haha.
Now I have a job, should I focus on dating? Hmm, some tips here on a date-night.
Nice photos. Wish I can take those good-quality photos.
A touching story. Which person are you?
Well, I guess that's all for now. Oh yeah, before I forgot - Happy Father's Day to all the fathers out there! Children, remember to treat your father to somewhere good today ya? But then again, treating them good isn't just for today only. Treat them good everyday ;)

Dumpling
Dumpling! One thing I am grateful of today (or rather yesterday, was that I got to taste a dumpling). For those who are in the dark, it was the "duan wu jie" (the Dumpling Festival, though I don't know the exact name :P) on Sunday. Dumplings for dinner. Cool. I missed the chance to eat last year as I didn't go back home. At least this year, my friends and I had a small gathering. Haha.
Things got from bad to worse. Not only do I have to worry about moving out, I have to worry on getting the letters ready on time for my application for PR. My friends coaxed me to talk to the person-in-charged to speed up the processing (there was a deadline to catch). Well, after delaying here and there, I finally talked to the kind staff who willingly helped me. At least one problem solved. Next one is to move out. So many things to move, yet so little time. And my hostel officer just sent me the reminder to move out @.@ Moreover, we have yet to find a place to stay yet. Well, "learn to grow up, my child" - advices from my seniors. Haha. Must really learn to grow up, and face my own problems.
Any links that you want? Hmm.. There are a few like:
Photographs for you to awe at-
Awesome nature photos..
Magnificent landscape photos.
All on technologies-
One nice clock. Perhaps I create one like that in my free time? Provided I still remember my C. :P
Something like a microscope, but more fun to play with.
New lifestyle furniture? I want that!
Robots.... yeah...

Collection of jokes. Mind you, some are really not for kids =)
Cutesy lovely dogs..
This clearly illustrates my feelings when I was in my undergraduate years.. Especially the "Every New Semester", "1 Day before the Final Exam", and "After the Final Exam, during the Holiday". Like it says - That's college! =) How I missed it, though it's just like how many months? 1 month?

A Hope, A Silver Lining in the Cloud..
Before I start talking about anything, perhaps I should layout a newer format for my blogs. The first one is on the things I'm grateful of, then followed by the topics of the day, and finally the links that you all may be interested to learn.
The reason to start with a gratitude statement? Well, my friend told me, "Don't you know how many people are ungrateful? They just focus on what they DON'T have, instead of focusing on what they HAVE. It is the same thing you are looking at - both good and bad. However, when you are grateful on the things you have, you tend to live happier." Well, he did have a point there. Why keep a sour face when you can enjoy your life? Be contented with what you have and you will make full use of all the things you have =)
For starters, I am grateful today because I have friends who are supportive all this while and who help me in a lot of ways unimaginable - from personal and studies, to financial and job-hunt. What would I ever do without you guys? Thanks, my friends! I really appreciated all the help you have given me =)
Why the title of the blog "A Hope, A Silver Lining in the Clouds"? Originally, I planned on "Hope, Given in the Darkest Hour, only to be Squashed Again". But the original title sounded so gloom, and my friend taught me to be grateful and positive thinking. The blog actually addresses this - I went for a job interview and waited for its news for a very long time. When I was on the verge of giving up, they called me for second interview, only to realize there are other more qualified candidates. That was when I felt my hopes all died out. Yet, my friend made me realize that how pitiful I was. And so, with hopeful and grateful attitude, I went on for the second interview and finally secured the job! That is the remarkable results of being grateful and positive thinking.
If you think this blog is rather confusing, just remember this : GRATITUDE AND POSITIVE THINKING WILL LEAD YOU TO GREATER HEIGHTS.
Here are some of the links for you to enjoy:
Guys, does this mean - LIVE YOUR LIFE TO THE FULLEST?
What does motivation really mean?
7 questions to ask yourself, to find your own passion.
Another website to teach you on how you should live your life =)
100 quotes - one a day, and you have enough quotes for more than 3 months ;)
Considering the high costs of living, do you think you can cope with it? This family will show you how!
This is a good way to annoy the the annoying telemarketers. Somehow, I do pity the telemarketers. They call us just because they want to earn a living. But then again, perhaps they could have chosen a much better time than during dinner?
Well, that's all for now. Until next time, take care everyone.

Happy Birthday, agiu!
Yo, buddy! Happy birthday! May you have a wonderful year ahead! (Hmm.. what else to wish him, to greet him.. Too bad, I am a man with poor words :S)
Anyway, it was a wonderful night out yesterday. Had a movie with friend. We watched The Chronicle of Narnia: Prince Caspian. Along the way, we had fun - we laughed together, I laughed at her; funny things happened; sad things also happened. Still, it was a good memory to me. Hope it still stayed with me, before being overwritten by another experience with someone else :P
As usual, in the past few days, I am still searching for jobs. My friends, one by one, got their dream jobs, and here I am, back to square one. What would happen, if I am one of the 10% of the unemployed fresh graduate who really can't find a job? I know! I go back to my alma mater and applied for a cleaner's position! Surely, I won't stay unemployed anymore! =)
(This is one good use of positive thinking :P)
Over the past few days, I scoured the Internet (and as always, I am guided by the trusty StumbleUpon) to find tidbits for you. And here, I present to you - my findings:
Funny ads.. Just a joke, don't take it literally. (And please don't try it at home - feeding crocodiles)
Funny photos..
A picture paints a thousand words .. And this picture sure worths a thousand degree of celsius. Yet, I really admire their courage and bravery.
These are the roads I wont travel on. At least not in this lifetime.
Another cool photo of the nature at work. Just splendid.
Are they real? They look too beautiful to be real.
Cats!
Gates of Hell! I never would have guessed that Hell is such a pretty place. It's beyond any imaginable words. Unspoken beauty. ( A tell-tale sign of a corrupted soul :S)
These are not your typical everyday insects. Not only do they look scary, they are scary.. :S
Ever wondered how the little things that we encounter in our everyday life really behave in slow motion?
A rather lengthy video.. But where do they find the energy, time and resources to do this? Perhaps it's all about passion?
Look into this.. You are now under my hypnosis.. You will now believe that meng is a handsome guy. (Editor.menG: =.=' The author is nuts. Don't bother about him. Don't stare too long into the swf, you will get dizzy easily.)
Feeling creativity- dry? Try some tips from this website.
Blondes are not dumb. Wrong stereotyping :P
Wanna learn Photoshop?
Another website for learning Photoshop.
Camera hacks anyone? For Canon only.
A podcast for the guys on how to woo the gals.
Away from computer.. Unimaginable? Actually it would do wonders for you, at least I knew it would for me.
This is a rather peculiar motivational website. The content is good, though it was smeared with inappropriate languages. Under-aged kids will have to wait till you are old enough to read this!
Six-pack for the guys..
Trim your abs, the gals' way =) Gals do have an easier way to keep their abs lean..
This is a rather sad game.. Not recommended to anyone. Depressing and with no good endings (at least that is my conclusion for trying it twice la). ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
A place to for you to exhibit your artistic talents! Sky is the limit, or rather the functions are the limit.. Hehe.. Nevertheless, there is countless possibilities to mix and match =)
With this, I end my blog here.. Have been visiting my friend's blog. She put up a poll. Should I do the same? Hmm, better not. What would happen if noone ever vote for anything? Haha, do less one thing ,worry less one thing - that is my motto for tonight. For everyone else, have a good night sleep. Worries will get you nowhere but wrinkles on your forehead =)

Deadlines, Deadlines and more Deadlines!!
Life would be a slow-moving one, until I upped the stake. Moving out early when I am still jobless and haven't found any place to stay. Still waiting for news from the one company, for now. Still searching for new companies for interviews. And still looking for a new place to stay. Will I be able to accomplish all this before I move out? In roughly 3 weeks time? With positive thinking, I will! Hehe.. Always think positive!
Another happy thing that has happened just now was that I had a wonderful dinner with a gal. A dinner at one canteen and a drink at another. Haha.. Life could never been more wonderful!
And, since I'm so happy now.. let me share with you the many links I had acquired (and I really mean MANY :P)
A video of a man playing the keyboard.. His skills is not on the standard of a professional, but at least applaud him for having the courage to perform in front of a video =)
One way to learn Programming is by creating games =)
Another game you play on the website.. Sometimes it does get irritating :P
One more game for you to play.. Learning physics at the same time? I doubted it :P
Show ur arts online.. Draw, sketch, do whatever u want here!
It is a touching video of how inmates can be good persons.. and how the human-dog bonding exists and grows.. all in dogs behind bars.
Another touching collection about a mother.. About her job, and her sufferings.. And how she continues to fight on.. for her love for her child.
Do you really understand what is love? Hear it for yourself, the true meaning of love.. as given by experts.
Love quotes for guys to whisper into the ears of their love ones..
Love facts? Or is it just a bluff?
Wanna understand how women feel? Listen to their sighs..
Better still, interpret what is it that they really mean when they talk to you. the best replies are:
"Yes = No
No = No
Maybe = No " >> All they know is "No"! :S
Or "Are you listening to me!? = [Too late, you’re dead.] " -> If this ever happens, man, you REALLY are dead!
You can choose to believe it or choose to be ignorant.. What you choose will determine whether you are in bliss or at the mercy at the wrath of the women!
Wanna be rich? Then don't you ever do these!
10 things you can ever learn from a dog.. Lessons on life comes from various sources. It's up to us to find the meaning and be open to it.. Be open-minded and it will come to you.
Have you ever wish you can fly? Like him?
A meaningful picture on wealth and changes.. if only I understand what it means =.='
The art of Photoshop. What are we going to do without them? Hehe..

A fun collection of photos.. For dog lovers..
Just for the guys.. and I really mean for the guys onli :P
Another collection of thought-revoking and creative photos..
Another collection of creative photos.. Where do they get those ideas?
Lovely cat.. I want that cat.. Or rather, I wanna be the cat! Why do I always see funny photos? Perhaps when good things are happening to me, and I'm happy - I'll start to notice happy things. So people, be happy and start to enjoy life. Then good things will keep on falling onto you!
This is a rather lengthy animation. U need to move the scroll a little and watch it till stop, then move it a little and watch it unfolds till it stops, and repeat again :S Perhaps there is a better way, which I dunno :P care to explain? But once u see it, its worth all e efforts u put in!
This is something what a guy wants in bed.. It is kinda obvious, isn't it? But remember the price you have to pay, guys!
This is what I want - R2D2 projector. Anyone wanna buy it for my Christmas present? It's not that expensive, just $2,500 and its US$ =)
That's all from me today! I'm in cloud 9 now.. Nothing will upset me because I am happy! =)

This is something what a guy wants in bed.. It is kinda obvious, isn't it? But remember the price you have to pay, guys!

Another Interview..
Another interview today. I had a fright as I dilly-dally to prepare for my interview till I was almost late :S The travel only needs less than an hour but I quoted 1.5 hours (wonders who's time I'm using as a reference?).
The best thing that could ever happen to an interviewee is that he goes to the wrong place. That was what had happened to me. I went into the wrong building and kept on thinking why there weren't any people there =.='
Generally, the interview was a good one, I hope. The interviewer was kind and friendly. Though I still acted negatively to some questions. Well, inherently I am a negative person. Sigh..
A few days ago, a gal wanna ask me for dinner, but it didn't work out because I promised my friend. And so, I prmoised her for supper. Who knew I had stomachache after dinner and so, I forgot about the supper. And I thought she didn't wait for me for supper. Just realized she really DID wait for me! OMG!! I'm in deep trouble now...
Anyway, hope that limin will get well soon. And don't spread the fever bug to me!
Hereafter are the links to fascinating things that I found in the Internet:
Sah pei kow..
Cross your eyes and see the magic unfold upon you.
A nugget for you.
Ahh, the wonder of C Programming for the school kids..
Let's shout out our dress code!
Robotic jellyfish!
Castles or ruins?
Clocks - ONE and TWO.
April's Fool - though it's kinda late.. too late for this year!
Real or fake? Be amazed!
A must-have furniture for all cost conscious home-owner.
Something to play if you are bored. Be warned that the other party may produce obscene "arts".
Beards.. ahh, wonderful. Should I keep mine?
One of the funniest movie I had ever seen. Crappy, just like me. Or should I say just like my friends (you all know who you are :P)

Khailuen and bro in Singapore!
My friends came visit me on Friday and Saturday. Me, as the host, did the most unbelievable things. Firstly, being "proud" of my uni - I brought them to the library, lecture theatre and medical center. And being "proud" of Singapore - I even brought them to National Library in Bugis to take a nap :S Haha, guess you will know how good I am with the places here. At least we did go to Esplanade, Chinatown and Sentosa - those standard stuff. And me, being the host, was treated to lunch, teabreak and dinner by them - both in Singapore and Johore! :S
Although them coming here should be fun, some hiccups along the way spoilt the mood. It is a public holiday on Monday and the people hiked the prices for the bus fares, forcing my friends to take a 1130pm bus :S Anyway, hope they had fun in Singapore though I did a lousy job as a host.
And here are the videos and links, as usual, to my fellow readers - whoever you are =)
rabbit vs falcon
Football! (American style!)
Hammer!
Futuristic motorcycle.
Funniest Amazon review!
Exercise regime!
Change the world! By Mahatma Gandhi...
Hmm, things to ponder...
Animated origami - in German.
"Wie heisst George W. bush mit Vornamen?"
Cool illusions...
Cross your eyes and see 3D pictures. The effects are cool!
Arts?
Clouds!

My Very First Job Interview
It was just yesterday. Woke up early for my interview. Wear my best formal clothes, polish my leather shoes.. Put on my perfume and make-up, and even put on a red lipstick =.=' (...) Okok, it was just a joke! Don't take it so seriously!
The interview started with a technical test first. My forte, which was programming, ended in the drain when I did a stupid and buggy algorithm. The ones that I studied the day before also ended in miserable situations as I didn't know how to interpret the last connection. Weirdly, the ones I didn't read, because of too many diagrams.. I got it correct.. Thru' sheer luck :S
The interview itself didn't go well. Well, just blame on my lack of preparation. And also because I saved the few pennies from not attending those interview workshop. Hope I learnt my lessons well. To top it off, it rained cats and dogs and I was soaked from head to toes. Seriously, the cats and dogs keep dropping on me! @.@ (Okok, another lame joke from me.. But I really soaked to my spine.)
Kokheng showed me his resume and made me realize that mine still need a lot of improvement. Well, MyResume #2002 will commence later. Sigh... More work to do, when there are still no signs of interviews.
Anyway, links for you before you all doze off so early in the evening =)
One tip for Photoshop.
Nice graphics.
A joke about the political parties.
OMG! Fish!
Desktop Tower Game!!
All about martial arts!
Wanna consider these as your homes?
Cool laboratories.. or so I thought..
Guys, don't buy these for your gfs.
Gals, don't bring ur bfs to these places.
Tips for working adults. Spend your time wisely.
Manage your credit! But then again, due to my limited knowledge, I don't understand what is written. Follow the advice on your own discretion and risk.

Failed Project!
There was a project I took since the end of my First Year in my uni. It was a soft skill project, mainly on management and communication. The result was a total failure! The moderator asked me, "What is your future work?" How could there be a future work when the project ended in total failure and there wasn't any need or purpose to continue it? The moderator even interrogated me for the objectives of the project. The moderator scolded me for not knowing the purpose of the project.
I had thought there was a continuation for this project, but then again - I'm just tired of all this project stuff. Unrelated to my uni studies, something I picked up for my activities outside school life. I'm a free man - project no more! =)
On a different note, my friend said she brought me good luck because I got a call for interview when I was travelling on MRT with her. At first, I thought the same too. But after I read the job description carefully, was it really good luck? It was all about EE2002 and EE3003! :S I'm dead meat this time. Had to bug Cheong to teach me everything about EE3003. Anyway, I'll just do my best and see how it goes. No need to sweat over it =) (That's the advice given by all my friends and family.)
And now, links for all of you out there!
A workout regime for gals who wanna look great for their weddings =)
Wonderful photos..
One soothing picture. It's all about peace and serenity.
Another wonderful place for photos.. Inspirational and touching. Just mind that it takes forever to load, because there are more than 50K photos! :S
I hope all the pretty gals won't do this to me =)
A website that guys should read.. Understand the gals' emotion and psychology.
I belong to this society..
I hope to have these as my home decors :P
Anyone can help me to decipher what this means?
Hmm, what does this countdown lead to?
This is what a $3K camera can do. Too bad it's way too expensive for me.
Technology! What are we going to do without them?

Happy Mother's Day!
Happy Mother's Day to all mothers out there! Today is a day to remember and cherish the love and sacrifices that all the mothers have poured to us, all this time. As a radio DI aptly put it - everyday is a Mother's Day!
On another note, khailuen and his brother are going to come to Singapore this Friday. You can expect all hell breaks free when they are in Singapore. Haha, just kidding. Nothing much would ever happen, especially when I am the tour guide. Where should I bring them to? Hmm, any suggestions from you guys?
I watched a documentary called "Weird Nature - Puzzling Partners". It told of unimaginable partners. How cats and mice can live together. How dogs and foxes can play together if they are brought up since young. This story.. this story, I mentioned to only one friend of mine. She didn't even understand it when I told her. What I really wanted to say was, with two people from very different background - one normal, another siao; one cruel, another kind; one selfish, another selfless.. Could there really be friendship between them?
Hmmm... Something to ponder about. Anyway, Happy Mother's Day to all mothers out there, especially to Madam Chen, who didn't even reply my sms :S In the meantime, I should start preparing my friends' visit to Singapore this Friday..

Sad Sad Me
Attended my two meimeis' presentations today. Though huihui's moderator shot her alot of insane questions, she kept her cool and managed to answer the questions. While another meimei had it smooth sailing, or so I thought. Having said that, after their presentations, they didn't care about their big bro and went on celebrating. Sigh.. Such ungrateful sisters.. I'm so fed up liao.. Better find myself other kawaii little sisters who really care about me :P
To make things worse, another meimei demanded me NOT to attend her presentation yesterday or else she says "NO MORE friendship!" :S Though wanted to see her after her presentation, she left too early. Must be celebrating it with her bf.. Another classical case of "A little too late".
---------------------------------------------------------------------
To make myself happier, I should focus on kawaii little sisters. Preferably as cute as Rainie here:
Or even as wonderful as Cai Chun Jia here:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
A youtube intro-ed by my YCF instructor, wenhui. Nice video.

Well, time to sweet dream... Dream of...

It's finally over!
It's finally over - officially, that is.. Presented my FYP to my supervisor and my moderator. Won't say it as excellent as I get tongue-tied, mixed up the grammar and got the facts wrong @.@ Anyway, it's all over. With some editing on the reports, there is nothing left for me to do on my study life. Moving on to working life then.
Had a wonderful dinner and board games with my EnS group mates at Mind's Cafe. Though it was just a short acquintance among us - this semester, 5 official tutorials, several unofficial meetings for assignments and one McD outing for discussing the past year paper's - we bonded like close friends. Having said that, the questions like "How many siblings you have?" made it seemed like we knew nothing of each other. Haha... The food that I ordered was an extra large portion. With another extra large drink, I thought I was going to get sick @.@ Anyway, it was great spending time with them - playing those silly board games. Had so much fun till I missed the last bus back to my uni. Well, it was a great experience too - my first time walking back to my uni, alone and after midnight. A stroll that took one hour. Had always wanted to do that -walking back at midnight, but never had the chance =)
Well then, enough of all the good news (at least for me), let's get to some links that you are all waiting for!
A typical stress test.
A newspaper cutting on idiots at workplace - a cause of rising high blood pressure cases!
Volcano!! Or is it?
Animation + drawing. Symmetrical arts.
Learning your grammars - UK's and USA's English.
For the inventors out there..
Evolution of life...
I want those keyboards!!
Time to start preparing my FYP report and then start to enjoy my life!

Chinese Style Buffet
Yesterday was somehow the most fruitful day that I had since last week or so, after my final paper. In the morning I did my FYP slides, evening applied some jobs and at night, dinner at a restaurant near City Hall MRT.
FYP slides.. FYP presentation. Till now also not much progress. Sigh, didn't even rehearse on what to say. Didn't even know what to say. This preparation is the worse. The least, as compared to HRM, EnS, Prof Comm. The best one I did was EnS, and that was when the tutor was lenient. Sigh.. Gloomy Monday tomorrow.
Finally, took the effort to find some jobs. Till date, how many jobs had I applied? One.. two.. three.. four.. five.. six.. seven.. seven.. seven.. SEVEN??! @.@ When my teacher at my alma mater said I must find average 60 jobs =='
Dinner near City Hall MRT was a mixed. The food there was kinda bland, though some dishes unexpected salty (must be them put a lot of salt to cover the blandness). The first two hours were an ordeal. The dishes were slow, and we waited impatiently. Frustrated, we ticked the food extra extra. Then towards 9pm, when the crowds were dispersed, we were bombarded with all our dishes at one go. Imagine having 3 different types of desserts at one time! @.@
At first, we wanna leave becoz of the lack of food. Now, we can't wait to leave because there were too much food and that there were more that haven't been served. Recommended for next time? Maybe, but definitely cross out the "teeth vegetable" (Actually, it's called beansprout. Sorry for my lack of vocabulary :P Have to Image Google it for the name. hehe.. Anyway, beansprout reminded me of Allen of the DGrayman anime.. hehe..)
That's all for now. Wanna catch some wink again before continuing my FYP slides. Nitez.

Back to Sg
Took a rather long journey back to Singapore. Nothing spectacular really happened, except that a fight almost broke out right next to me. Luckily nothing happened, or else it would scar my face.
Had a rather late lunch (3pm) and subsequently a rather late dinner at 9pm. Luckily my hostel's canteen was still open or else, I would have to walk all the way to "Extension". To make things worse, leeching tempted me with her "delicious" 4 dishes @.@
The night was spent making a birthday present for hooiyee and also watching anime. Happy be-lated birthday! Hope you won't mind me greeting you this late =)
Finally, here are the links for you guys out there.. links that I promised in my previous blog..
21 suggestions for success.
Another 7 for to be included as my way of life. Does it sound like Naruto's way of ninja? Hehe..
16 more to add into my life.. So much to learn, and yet so little time.
A motivational website.. with a rather loud voice. Mind your speaker's volume. You have been warned!
It has a rather informative moral value behind the story. Applicable to all job-hunters out there.
List of open-source applications..
Linux anyone?
Can anyone fix this computer bug? I suggest an insecticide =)
Cool LEDs.. Or should I say it as HOT?!!
A website for penguin-lovers.. at least I know there is one, Uncle Kim :P
A photo worth seeing..
A new calendar.
And an even better clock.
All about lightning!
A video.. watch it and try to understand it.. coz I don't :P
Business cards!!
It sure is boring to repeat your name - 21 times!!
Boonkgim suggested this camera to me .. Seems nice if my pocket permits it.
Another wonderful camera that he recommended. Perhaps I should aim for this one? Oh yeah, my birthday is around the corners.. Friends, you know what to do. (I want either one of the two cameras :P)
Well, guess that's all for tonight. Sleep tight and have a sweet dream. While I had some serious thinking to do. About the previous post? Nah.. It's about which anime to watch these few days!!! =)

Exam is Over!
Exam has finally ended. But there was this little feeling that I had just before exam. I started to have a slightly bad feeling, those kinda feeling that I felt when I had to leave the comfort of my home to go for a KL-trip. I'm not sure whether it was a good feeling or not. It was good to go traveling to KL city centre, but to leave the comfort of my home and endure a rather lengthy trip? (This feeling is hard to explain. It's all jumbled up.)
Anyway, as suspected. Good things go down the drain while all the bad things sky-rocketed to the roof. Was I over-reacting or the expressions even down-played the catastrophe that had hit me? I apologized to all whom I had done wrong to and there it was - a particular friend, whose reply left an impact on me.
She blogged about a person whom had been there for her. About how the person cared for her during ups and downs. About how the person made her cry. You may think this person is a saint. Yet, with all the sins that I had committed, could I ever be such a person?
There were meanings to her blog. Meanings that led me to be a better person. Her blog is to remind me that I should be such a person - someone whom others would look up to, someone others can rely on, or just someone whom others can call a 'friend'. Perhaps if I could be that person, I'm worthy to be called a human, or even a 'friend'?
Her blog, somehow, made me shed some tear - though it was just a short while (this just goes to show that I can be cold-hearted, when my friend showed their warmth and kindnes and sincerity).
I have many links here to share but somehow, it is not the time. Packing my bag and preparing to go back home. Perhaps it is the only time I could ever ponder about myself before I join the workforce. Would I be that person or I continued to be a jerk?
But the greatest question remain unsolved.. "Was it the correct choice to come to this uni to study, only to meet this person towards the end of my year1, whom had impacted my life, in more than one way?"
(Editor.menG: If you are reading this and get confused, you are not to be blamed. Even I don't understand him :S This writer has been rumbling all over the place about nothing. I don't even know why he wanted to post it at the first place. Please forgive him - he is going to end his study life and to begin a new one as a worker. Give him some slacks, ok?)

What's the topic today?
Hmm, today seems to be a rather mixed up.
My friend had a minor accident. And being the insensible me, I joked on it. She really pissed off with it. Ok, better let it cool down first..
Study in my school's computer lab is no longer conducive. It's the second time straight I slept in there after lunch? Was it of the heavy lunch or it's the fengshui of the room? Hmm.. The only thing I knew was that my neck is in serious pain now.. No more studies in there !!
And finally, I picked up German again. In my job resume, I put proficiency in German as "satisfactory". Of course I need to brush up on my language right? Guten tag! Sehr angenehm! That would mean "Good day, pleased to meet you!"

Supper + Beer
There was a gathering at Cheong and Lap's place. Chef Lap personally prepared few of his trademarked dishes. The dishes were good. Delicious! Haha.. Though the chef did mention he was surprised with the slightly larger crowd than he had expected.
Well, we next proceeded to the main event - alcohol drinking. Previously, during supper, I drank one can of Anchor. Well, that was just the appetizer. The main course was the coffee-flavored alcoholic drink. It was Baileys, if I'm not mistaken. It didn't taste as alcohol at first. More like a sweet coffee. Haha.. But it did have a little bit of alcohol's taste and effects. :P Overall, I would give it a 8 out of 10. Haha..
But the day before was not saying at all. Slept in computer lab for the whole afternoon when I was supposed to be studying for my exam :S
Anyway, here is a quick one on the links that I hope is useful for you to cure your boredom :P
A motivational speech by Steve Jobs. Worth listening..
For cat lovers..
Is this real? This is what I called a masterpiece =)
A classic animation vs animator..
That's all for now. I need to start preparing to find job now. Or else aunties will start nagging me.(You know who you are :P) Or should I collect my laundry now? :S

New Food Court at New Canteen
Another grand opening for the new Canteen A. And this time, it is the food court! What would the one word to describe it? The one word that struck my mind immediately is ..... "INFLATION"!! The price for almost everything rises from 10 to 30 cents.
Well, still I won't say the food is not affordable. I just need time to get used to the new price :S
Enough on the price. How about the offering? Well, for starters, there are more stalls there.. But is it? OMG, I just realized that I never pay attention on what I observed! I can't even remember how many stalls in the old Canteen A, let alone the stalls in new Canteen A. My memory is getting poor. Perhaps I need to eat fish everyday to regain my memory..
Had mixed rice for lunch and briyani rice for dinner. Both are ok, at least to me who is not a gourmet :P At least it is a blessing in disguise as I don't need to worry so much as to to think whether my lunch or dinner will be exceptionally delicious or not :P
Tomorrow's lunch will be at the new Canteen A. My lunch kakis and I planned to sample all the food there. Haha.. Next week another grand opening of a restaurant. My uni is so happening right? :P

Another Slacking Day
Today is yet another slacking day for me. Another unfulfilling day for me. After FYP is over, I don't think there is anything left for me to do.
Woke up at 8, only to find myself playing games till 10. After much nagging from Aunt Aimei (whom by now must be pissed off with me because I alwaz go and kacau her :P), I finally made up my mind to apply for job.
The application, you won't believe it, was a total disaster! There it was, the job description for a post that I found to be exciting. After several hours pouring onto the resume, it was time to write the cover letter. All was well until I wanted to know to whom I needed to write to. I clicked on "Apply Now" button and the response I got was,"This page is no longer available!" And I was =.='
I spent hours doing all the resume things and this is what I get? Well, actually it was just an hour. But still, it was too much! Luckily, the things that I had done can be used to apply on another company. Lucky me. Though there are many things to do as well.
Would tomorrow be as boring as today? Preferably not, as I planned to do something concrete today. Thinking back, I should start preparing for my FYP oral presentation that is due soon. Still, where is my momentum!!!
Anyway, before worrying about that, why don't I share with you some links? :P
Need an analogy to understand programming languages?
Whether you see it as a cutey art or cruelty to animals, well, it really is up to you to decide.
Legal Rights of husbands!
And see how the wives coming up with their own amendments..
I love it when the kids' creativity is supported by artists!
My current addictions - free games :P There are also CnC.. If only I can save it and run it (Editor.menG: the game CnC has not been verified yet. Proceed with caution!)
Another great collection of photoshop tutorials!
Well, it's time to yet another round of sleep. Nights everyone.. May tomorrow be a happier day for me..

ENS Exam !!
ENS exam today! My very first exam for this final semester in this university. Well, it didn't go along well, but hey, it's not the main topic for this post. The next paper is .. well, hmm... actuaclly, how should I put it? .. like 10 days later? ooh, did I mention that it is also my last paper? :P
I had the opportunity to accompany my special friend back home. Nothing much, really. I just had fun making her miserable throughout the MRT trip. Ooh, I should mention that the "torture" begins at the bus stop in my uni =)
Well, what better coincidence to happen when we even met her parents? Well, it's her who saw them? And what did I do? Of course I ran away! What else you expect me to do? After torturing their only daughter in mrt today? :P At least I'm safe now in my uni =) For now... Hehe..
Oh well, I think the wait is long enough. It's time for your favourite links!
Wanna learn how to do your oral presentation in 5-8May? Here. This should be useful :P
Hopefully the companies don't send me this kinda letters :S
For those who wanna write a better resume.
For people preparing for their interviews.
My my.. All on job search??! :S Better find some links for a more "general" audience.
A nice generator for effects. For the mindless zombies who dunno what to do.
This is what I called an art!
Origami rocks! But it can be freakish at times :S
Audios to soothe your senses..
Interested in novels, anyone?
Blokus! A board game introduced by my (RSP) HI buddies =) Really missed the good old makan time.. Hehe..
Well, that's all folks. It's time for sweet dreams. Wonder if it would rain later? Then the dream would be exceptional sweet =) Nitez, everyone. Sleep tight and don't let the bed bug bite you, whatever it is :P

Wood Wood Wood
Today is definitely a wooden day for me!!
It all started out with Aimei implying me a wood. Ok ok.. I'm not the smartest person around, but being degraded to a wood?
Then teabreak came. And the usual dinner kakis and me explored the newly renovated Canteen B. Nothing spectacular except more woods to be seen. The tables are wood. The walls are wood. Even the rubbish bins are wood!
Dinnertime came and the dinner kakis kept bullying me like a wood. As if it wasn't enough, I went to HSS Library to study, only to find more wood in the library. I think I mentioned before of the library, didn't I? It's the latest addition to my uni's library, with the decor mainly wood. It comes with an automatic sliding, glass door as its entrance. The number of computers is limited though the computers are top-notch =)
By the way, why am I blogging here? Tomorrow is my very first paper for this final semester in my uni!! My my.. With so many wood around, would I be dull like a wood? @.@ I am in dire need of my Lady Luck!

Lost in Dhoby Ghaut MRT
What a pathetic me! Meeting friends for EnS discussion at McD in Plaza Singapura (PS) near Dhoby Ghaut MRT. I took Exit A first, and I saw McDonald House. Weird, it's a commercial building with Singtel. I took the opposite exit (Exit B) of MRT and I saw empty spaces. OMG! Where on Earth is PS?! I asked other people. One person didn't know, while another pointed the direction to Exit A. @.@ Actually he was right, as the is the Exit D near Exit A, though need to do some exploration. When I reached Ps, the so-called McD at the entrance of PS has been torn down and was relocated to its basement. Further cause for confusion and panic @.@
After that, I went to collect something from Wing Yu. At least there is entertainment for me for this short holiday =)
Expenses for food today exceeded my budget. Though it is slightly more expensive (more than what I had thought of), at least it is delicious and worth the price =)
And now, as usual, links for the bored-at-heart :P
Strictly for football fans =)
For those with a flair and interest in words.. I'm definitely don't belong in this group of people =)
Tips for managing difficult people. It's a useful skills, explained in simple war/military terms. But then again, why do the descriptions for difficult people describe more of me? I'm a difficult person? Thought I kept it short and simple? But then again, maybe not. LOL.

Happy Birthday, Chiew Woon !
Well, another birthday gal. And this time, its Chiew Woon!! Yeah.. give her a round of applause ...
( Editor.menG: Err.. this writer is nuts, is it? This is for birthday wishes, not congratulatory messages la .. =.=' )
Oops.. Paiseh paiseh. Got carried away. Ok ok, let's get back to business. Like I said, it's Chiew Woon's birthday! Happy birthday! May all your dreams come true! There is nothing more to offer. There are just too many people celebrating their birthdays. Well, it's hutang first ok? Give you a better one next year (that is if I can remember la :P) ! But then again, I found this link..
(click on the links for more of Chiewwoons :P Or you can type your name in too, haha.)
(Edit: But then again.. The effects don't seem nice.. It diverts back to its original website. And I thought it was an applet that I can use locally. Well, it's better than nothing :P)
On another note, Cheong and I went to visit the new HSS library. The decor is nice, modern yet utilises the wooden features. There are even automatic sliding door at the entrance. The number of computers are limited though the sofas seem seductive enough to lure me to sleep on it. Haha. But one bad point on it would be on the collection of books. Somehow, I felt that the collection is too small and not interesting enough. But then again, I'm not studying HSS. Of course it's boring, well at least that was what Cheong theorised :P
Alright, and here now are the links that you all have been waiting for:
Collection of Photoshop help-pages.
Let's see if you understand the theories behind it =)
Jokes.. clever use of words .. well, just for the first few sentences :P
Tips that every lady should know =) Guys, I'm doing you a favour here.. Haha..
Another great photography website with excellent explanations. Thanks Boonkgim for the link!
Do you think you wasting on Internet too much? Try the tips here for your personal growth =)
Perhaps this describes the actions I should take? Hmmm...
Anyway, it's time for my beauty sleep. Haha.. Nights, everyone.
(Editor.menG: Before signing off, this writer absent-mindedly forgot to tell you all one thing - today is his last day at school! And he ended it with an assessment of his lab design. The results? Hmm, better not agitate him. Or else, he would bombard the next post with all his tears and sorrow.. Now all he can do is just wait for the spiderweb to grow on his head while waiting for his first exam paper to come.. Okiela, this comment is getting too long now. Nights, everyone!)

Happy Birthday, Lee Kim !
Tomorrow is 9th April, and you know what significant date is that? Yeah, it is Lee Kim's birthday! You know how old she will turn into tomorrow? Err, think I'll just leave it out. It may be a sensitive info about her :P
Bought her a slice of Black Forest and coffee cakes each (hope she is still addicted to coffee :P) The cakes were bought on behalf of some of her uni friends, whose names are withheld for privacy reasons :P. Ah Bee was there with me when we gave her the cakes. Ah Bee was supposed to sing her a birthday song, but he was so shy.. Haha.. Ah Bee, Ah Bee.. hehe...
And so, as a substitute, there is a birthday song video here, just for you, Lee Kim! (though I got showed to someone earlier on for her birthday too :P)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
On another note, I finally received my PR offer, valid upon graduation and employment. But should I take up the offer? Was there a reason for me to stay on in this country? Perhaps she can answer it? Hmmm.. added in another thing to think about :S
Well, no other tidbits to share this time around. Better luck to you all next time =) Good night and sweet dream!

Meinu in I.Hub
I couldn't believe my eyes. The computer lab was so deserted and yet she chose to sit next to me. She was a beauty, though I just caught a glimpse of her. I tried to remain calm but yet, I couldn't bring myself to look at her. I knew she was staring at me, well at least at my computer screen, but I couldn't look at her. Why did I become so timid?
Suddenly I felt so shy. I tried to act cool and macho. I pretended that I was more interested in the CNA shown than in her. In the end, she left the lab without a word said. And I was like, "What the heck did I do???!" Because of some ego (and also shyness), I had lost the golden chance, not to mention the one and only chance, to know her. I didn't really catch her face, making future meeting with her impossible. Why did I do such a stupid mistake??! If I could only turn back the clock, I would have made the effort to get to know her. And yet, I knew it was just a wishful thinking. Perhaps this will serve as a reminder for me to open up and get to know the beauties around me.
Prior to that, my usual lunch-tea break-dinner kaki friends and I decided to check out the new Canteen A. The grand opening is today! There are the old McDonald, with the new Subway, Canadian Pizza and Old Chang Kee. However, due to our taste of tasting something new, we decided to venture into a western restaurant. I shall not name it, due to the comments later on :P Due to some reasons, I left my friends to have lunch at Canteen B. I know, I know.. It is kinda pathetic :S However, their comments on the food at the western restaurant didn't sound upbeat. The food is not tasty as compared to the expensive price. So, is it lucky or unlucky to me? Hehe..
Later at night, I walked my da jie (whom I previously called aunty :P and now an uncle :S) back home. She, or rather "he", but is it "she"?.. Hmm, maybe "he" is more suitable.. But hor, it should be "she", but wait wait, shouldn't it be "he"? Arrrrgh..... I'm confused!! Da jie, please explain yourself!! Anyway, back to the story.. As I was saying, I walked da jie back to his/her* (please cut appropriately :P) house, since he/she complained that I treated my little sisters so nice, as to walk them to bus stop or even their homes, and no guys ever did the same to him/her. And so, as a courtesy, I did what all the little kids always do - to walk the uncle back. And with the rewards in mind, this little kid will happily sleep tonight, thinking of all the delicious food he will have tomorrow morning =)
But before this kid goes to sleep, he shall share some website links .. links that were given by his friends, and as well as those that were hidden and finally unearthed due to spring-cleaning activity today :P
5B as was intro-ed by Melanie to this kid. This kid hopes that Melanie and all the gals out there don't have this obsession in mind or else, you would never get married :P
Boonkgim sent me this link on analyzing the camera's quality. Handy when I'm planning to buy a new camera for my convo this coming July. Yes yes.. I know I am old :) And yet I acted like a kid :P
This link is just one of the many PsLover's links that showcase the amazing effects of using Photoshop. The very best way to learn Photoshop is by example, adn this website offered a lot of fancy ideas that I had practised a long long time ago. I chanced upon this website after a long time and in an appropriate time too. Melanie, I will photoshop your photos using the skills in this website. You just wait and see ya?
That's all folks. Time for sleep. Tomorrow will be a better day for me =)
Suddenly I felt so shy.
Back and Alive!!!
Well, this blog is back and alive !! After many weeks (or is it months? :P) of holidays .. also the "inconsiderate" comments by Eddie-san, hehe.. finally, this blog is back to business..
Firstly, I have to apologize.. Seriously.. It was CNY and I kinda took some holiday off.. Then my FYP was kinda rushing also. Deadlines to meet, with some people's FYP that required my help as well (people, you know who you are :P)
Now that my FYP report has been submitted and the project demo is over, I have plenty of free time =) Neglecting the fact that the results from both the written report and the demo are not up to standard, I should really enjoy my last few weeks in uni right? :P
Oh well, as usual .. Let me bombard you, my long-missing visitors, with all the website links taht I had obtained from my friends, and as well from StumbleUpon. Seriously, for those with nothing to do, those without a sense of direction, StumbleUpon can help you alot :P
Food for thoughts:
Nuggets for you..
Happiness .. Does it withstand the trial of time?
Think and you shall see..
Games:
A nice Flash game.. nice or not is up to you to decide.. I'll let you explore it on your own.. It took me hours to realise how to use the functions :P
Viwawa !!! Nice game intro-ed by Chiew Woon. I like the Dai Di game very much, coz I win alot there :P if you interested, can check out my wawa.. it is meng01meng =)
Jokes:
A Youtube joke on the recently concluded election.. please, don't take it seriously, ok? We are here for a laugh only =)
I don't want to be in his shoes.. Or rather his mouth :P Please watch the clip before you comment ok? Don't think I'm gay.. I am straight, ok !
A joke...
Another joke .. but definitely not for kids..
This card may very well describe my pathetic love life.. sigh..
Miscellaneous:
Another Youtube movie .. not on elections.. Don't worry =)
Origami website..
Another origami.. this one targeting Valentine.. I know, I know.. It is too late for V-Day.. I'm sorry ok? Busy with FYP ma :S
Hand acupuncture anyone?
The new OpenOffice 3.0.. Am looking forward to it.
I guess that's all for now.. Another time, another place.. And I'll bring you more wonders of the Internet =)
And this is what my brother is asking me to help him download =>
Are you on?

Ooops.. Happy Belated Birthday, Mei Ling.. Hehe..
Mei Ling, it was your birthday yesterday and I didn't wish you birthday greetings yesterday. I'm so bad. I'm so sorry :S Don't get mad on me ya? =)
Happy beeeeeeeeeeeeeeee-lated birthday. Hope you have a wonderful birthday party yesterday. I was thinking.. If noone really celebrated your birthday yesterday, would you be upset and started to torture your patients? With syringe or acupuncture needles? Haha.. just kidding. I'm sure you are as kind as ever ;)
3 more days for Chinese New Year and it is also the birthday of a lovely gal called Sabrina. Surely she celebrates CNY with her family and boyfriend. Oh well, I think the only time of the year I can meet her is on the Vesak Day celebration, as always =)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
And now.. a joke from my friend.. No offence intended :P Though it is only intended for laughs =X
Woman's Three Wishes..
A Woman was out golfing one day when she hit the ball into the woods. She went into the woods to look for it and found a frog in a trap. The frog said to her, 'If you release me from this trap, I will grant you three wishes.' The woman freed the frog, and the frog said, 'Thank you, but I failed
to mention that there was a condition to your wishes. Whatever you wish for, your husband will get times ten!' The woman said, 'That's okay.'
For her first wish, she wanted to be the most beautiful woman in the world. The frog warned her, 'You do realize that this wish will also make your husband the most handsome man in the
world, an Adonis whom women will flock to'. The woman replied, 'That's okay, because
I will be the most beautiful Woman and he will have eyes only for me.'
So, KAZAM-she's the most beautiful Woman in the world!
For her second wish, she wanted to be the richest woman in the world. The frog said, 'That will make your husband the richest man in the world. And he will be ten times richer than you.'
The woman said, 'That's okay, because what's mine is his and what's his is mine.'
So, KAZAM-she's the richest woman in the world!
The frog then inquired about her third wish, and she answered, 'I'd like a mild heart attack.'
Moral of the story: Women are clever. Don't mess with them.
Attention female readers: This is the end of the joke for you. Stop here and continue feeling good.
Male readers: Please scroll down.
The man had a heart attack ten times milder than his wife . Moral of the story: Women are really dumb but think they're really smart. Let them continue to think that way and
just enjoy the show.
PS: If you are a woman and are still reading this; it only goes to show that women never listen!!!
Forward this to all the guys for a good laugh, and to all the ladies who have a good sense of humour....

3rd Week into School
A new semester had started and this is my third week of school. Sigh, I planned to blogged after the first week but had no time. Planned to write after the first fortnight but was lazy. So, here I am - blogging for my first three weeks at school.
So, what interesting things happened or things that I had accomplished?
1) FYP - Arrghh.. It is definitely not a very pretty project. My supervisor asked a very practical question : "What is the usage of the output of your hardware?" and I was left there, stunned. And the very sad part is that I hurted myself while doing the project. I won't say I hurt myself, it's just bruises that occurred to spoilt brats who had never work hard :P
2) I only take three modules this semester but never had a chance to revise on my subjects. One lecturer likes to scold us, demoralizing us and undermining our intelligence. LOL. He somehow reminded me of ...... myself. My friend had advised me to change and now I'm changing. I want to accept other people's opinion and ideas. But then again, it takes time. So guys (and gals), give me a little more time ya =)
3) Bought a new bag yesterday at Bugis. The colour reminded me of Siao Siao's bag. Though I think the colour should be different, somehow I'm just reminded of her bag. Haha.. Like she said : " Life is sianz when you are not siao siao." .. OMG, I'm getting more siao because of her. Must keep my sanity with me =) Anyway, back to the story. After shopping, we went to Geylang for dinner. We had frog porridge, A.K.A. "tin kai chuk". Tasty but expensive. We are still not full, and they had beef noodle. Then, the ever-rich and -generous Choon Lim treated us the beancurd, soya milk, red bean paste bread and "yao tiu" (sorry for the spelling - I'm lousy with names :P). Thanks Choon LIm.
4) I went to JobsDB Career Expo in Suntec last week and had my eyes on a company. It is a Canadian company that accepts fresh graduates and the training is fun. Two years in Europe! It's time for me to rid myself of Siao Siao and to become a normal person :P
5) I watched Bleach from Episode 1 till the almost current Episode 150 in three weeks time. Now I started on Naruto Season 1 from Episode 1 and currently stopped at Episode 65. Still a long, long way to go. Still, loneliness will cast upon me. Whatwill I do after I finish Naruto? Hmm.. another anime? :P
6) Finally, the most rewarding thing that I had done is to date a gal. She agreed to go out with me on a dinner =) Though it can't be considered as a date as she treated me as a friend and nothing more, I'm still happy =)
Enough of the stories about myself. I know what you all are waiting for! The links for joy and amusement, the laughter that will shatter the whole wide world. The links that I had collected and saved up in this three weeks. And they are ( in no specific order) ...
But firstly, from : http://www.armannd.com/actual-recipe-for-a-happy-new-year.html ; I present to you -
Recipe for a happy New Year! Take 12 months, clean them from envy,
bitterness, costiveness, pedantry
and divide them into 30 or 31 parts,
so that the supply is enough for one year.
Each day individually arranged from:
1 part of work and
2 parts sense of glad and humor.
Add 3 accumulated tablespoons optimism,
1 tablespoon tolerance, 1 pellet irony
and 1 prize of time.
Then dowse the mass with
very much love all over.
The finished court can be decorated
with Straeusel of small attentions,
serve it well with daily amusement!
- Katharina Elisabeth Goethe (1731-1808) -
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
R Todd King and his pictures on Harbin Snow and Ice Festival.
Bobby with singing and playing musical instrument - on himself! @.@
What to do with an extra one more hour?
Speak of the Devil .. and he will lead you to Hell! (Actually, from all the ill-treatments I gave to Siao Siao, maybe I'm more than qualified to enter Hell :P)
A funny video to teach you to dance. DISCO!
Spin a pencil!
A website to learn a new thing.
Another self-learning website.
To draw a pretty girl.
Motivational flash clips.
Difference between Man and Woman. And it's quite true! (I think :P)
Cool picture.
Crappy video.
Another crappy video.
Cool wedding dance. Though maybe disturbing to some people. You have been warned :P
Cool architecture. It's of practical reasons, though a waste of resources - time, money, materials.
Career fair is coming! A new skill to tie a tie and fold your clothes are important! First impression counts.
Paper toy.
Amazing arts.
Cool scientific way to play... Err... cool or hot? Errrr.........
Hope you all enjoyed it..
CNY is coming real soon. Everyone give me big big angpow ya =)

Happy New Year!!
It's New Year! What should I say here?
Hmmm... to celebrate new year, I should ... err... should ... err... should ... hmmm.......
what should I do?
Oh well, I guess this is the time for me to think through my Year 2008 resolution.
1) I must do well on my FYP, to make up on the lousy results I got last sem. Getting B for it would be good enough for me =) , I hope...
2) CS and Dota all night long!! Computer games are good for the soul and mind .. Imagine all the Headshot you get ... (ooops, should have censored this part .. kids should not read this :P)
3) Exercise, exercise, exercise ... some people say I'm getting fatter (and lazier..).. well, time to change...
4) Find a good job.. learn many things and earn big bucks :P
5) Learn a new language and brush up on my Chinese ..
6) Learn a new sports .. Perhaps tennis is a good one..
7) Ice skate and rollerblade!
8) graduate from my uni!!
9)be more confident on myself!
But most important of all, I should change my personalities.. Two of my good friends had a frank talk with me. I really had a serious problem with me and I kept on pissing my other friends off. Thanks to them to open my eyes. I won't say I can change my bad habits, but still.. all this takes time. It's not easy to change.
And finally..
nice video for you all.
And to rectify a small error on the links for the previous post..
something to ponder should be this link. The error is utterly regretted :P
