Well, guess it's time to say bye-bye once again.. Another blog of mine that goes down the drain. Haha.. I wanted to blog, and yet, I just don't have the time to blog. Perhaps, without blogging, I can save a few megabytes of harddisk space and some resources in the broadband.
It's been a great few months of blogging. To my fellow readers (whoever you are, and if you really read it), thanks a lot for your support.
Take care, everyone.

First Week at Work
Today, I am grateful for the dinner I had with my friends. It had been ages since I last saw them (though it was actually just one week :P). We talked about our work, our accommodation, and the usual stuff. Haha. It is a bliss to be together with your friends =)
Well, it finally has happened. I stepped into the working world. The first week went off - without a blast, unsurprisingly. Orientation (or rather on-boarding session) on Monday took half day and I settled my IT-related work (setting up my laptop) till Tuesday. For the rest of the days, I spent the morning in the office reading documents while having a tour at the factory in the evening. Life there is good - helpful colleagues, conducive working environment, fast-paced yet manageable work, with cool benefits (there is even a gym and a swimming pool for us, hehe).
Officially, work ends at 530pm but I usually reached to my place around midnight. The reason? Chit-chatting with my friend. The topics varied - movies, musics, studies, entertainment, food, and of course on our lives. Haha. And the friend? You know who you are :P
And here, are some links for you. Enjoy!
It is gruesome, it is gory, and it is Calvin and Hobbes :P
My msn nick used to have this quote - "Be faithful in small things because it is in them that your strength lies" by Mother Teresa. And this website shows how an old guy shows his affections to his better half.
For cat-lovers, this is a medley for you :P
For you who like illusions...
For the people who likes arts, an origami tutorial for you.
In time of stress, this meditation will relieve you of your stress. Close your eyes and let it heals =)
A collection of photos - some good, some bad, some are just too much. Haha.
Open-source programs anyone?
New rules to those in the dating scene. Quoted from the last new rule :"When it's true love, thinking about this person makes you feel good". Isn't it so true? =)
Well, guess that's all for today. Seemingly, my schedule is kinda pack. And thus, I only have time to blog once a week. And so, perhaps I have more interesting things to write then? Haha, until then, take care everyone. It's time for me to sleep once again... zzZZzzZZzzzZzzZZZzzzzz....

A New Dawn..
What am I grateful of today? Well, for starters, I am grateful that I have a place to stay now, though I only sleep on the floor. I have ended my tenure at my hostel and have to stay at my friend's room indefinitely. Well, it won't take a long time, max to one month time. Somehow, I do feel happy sleeping on the floor. LOL. (Am I insane?) I should face some adversaries every now and then, since I had been having things easy till I take things for granted. @.@ (Self-punishment? Although I would rather say that I prefer to view it as 'looking at the brighter side of life'. Besides, optimists tend to live longer :P)
Read through someone's blog that she met a person at wrong timing. So did I. So did I.. (But who cares.)
Well, I had done my PR application and now, all I can do is to wait to start work tomorrow. LOL. Just like a kid, can't wait for something. Let's keep the flame (passion) burning. Hope it won't die out so fast, else what am I going to do? Haha.. Having said that, the chance of it dimming is low because my company is a good one - good welfare, nice environment, and has everything that I asked for. Haha.
And now, here are some links for you. The theme for today would be on financial planning, something that we, working adults, should learn about =)
Income can come in many ways..
102 tips to live a better life. That is if you can survive through the steps :P but it is manageable =)
Frugality is key.
This shows what we have been doing since day1 in kindergarten.
A joke - with the hotel. All I know is soap is going to give him nightmares :P
The so-called "productive" waste-time activities.. Remind me of a segment in Class95. Haha.
Now I have a job, should I focus on dating? Hmm, some tips here on a date-night.
Nice photos. Wish I can take those good-quality photos.
A touching story. Which person are you?
Well, I guess that's all for now. Oh yeah, before I forgot - Happy Father's Day to all the fathers out there! Children, remember to treat your father to somewhere good today ya? But then again, treating them good isn't just for today only. Treat them good everyday ;)

Dumpling
Dumpling! One thing I am grateful of today (or rather yesterday, was that I got to taste a dumpling). For those who are in the dark, it was the "duan wu jie" (the Dumpling Festival, though I don't know the exact name :P) on Sunday. Dumplings for dinner. Cool. I missed the chance to eat last year as I didn't go back home. At least this year, my friends and I had a small gathering. Haha.
Things got from bad to worse. Not only do I have to worry about moving out, I have to worry on getting the letters ready on time for my application for PR. My friends coaxed me to talk to the person-in-charged to speed up the processing (there was a deadline to catch). Well, after delaying here and there, I finally talked to the kind staff who willingly helped me. At least one problem solved. Next one is to move out. So many things to move, yet so little time. And my hostel officer just sent me the reminder to move out @.@ Moreover, we have yet to find a place to stay yet. Well, "learn to grow up, my child" - advices from my seniors. Haha. Must really learn to grow up, and face my own problems.
Any links that you want? Hmm.. There are a few like:
Photographs for you to awe at-
Awesome nature photos..
Magnificent landscape photos.
All on technologies-
One nice clock. Perhaps I create one like that in my free time? Provided I still remember my C. :P

A Hope, A Silver Lining in the Cloud..
Before I start talking about anything, perhaps I should layout a newer format for my blogs. The first one is on the things I'm grateful of, then followed by the topics of the day, and finally the links that you all may be interested to learn.
The reason to start with a gratitude statement? Well, my friend told me, "Don't you know how many people are ungrateful? They just focus on what they DON'T have, instead of focusing on what they HAVE. It is the same thing you are looking at - both good and bad. However, when you are grateful on the things you have, you tend to live happier." Well, he did have a point there. Why keep a sour face when you can enjoy your life? Be contented with what you have and you will make full use of all the things you have =)
For starters, I am grateful today because I have friends who are supportive all this while and who help me in a lot of ways unimaginable - from personal and studies, to financial and job-hunt. What would I ever do without you guys? Thanks, my friends! I really appreciated all the help you have given me =)
Why the title of the blog "A Hope, A Silver Lining in the Clouds"? Originally, I planned on "Hope, Given in the Darkest Hour, only to be Squashed Again". But the original title sounded so gloom, and my friend taught me to be grateful and positive thinking. The blog actually addresses this - I went for a job interview and waited for its news for a very long time. When I was on the verge of giving up, they called me for second interview, only to realize there are other more qualified candidates. That was when I felt my hopes all died out. Yet, my friend made me realize that how pitiful I was. And so, with hopeful and grateful attitude, I went on for the second interview and finally secured the job! That is the remarkable results of being grateful and positive thinking.
If you think this blog is rather confusing, just remember this : GRATITUDE AND POSITIVE THINKING WILL LEAD YOU TO GREATER HEIGHTS.
Here are some of the links for you to enjoy:
Guys, does this mean - LIVE YOUR LIFE TO THE FULLEST?
What does motivation really mean?
7 questions to ask yourself, to find your own passion.
Another website to teach you on how you should live your life =)
100 quotes - one a day, and you have enough quotes for more than 3 months ;)
Considering the high costs of living, do you think you can cope with it? This family will show you how!
This is a good way to annoy the the annoying telemarketers. Somehow, I do pity the telemarketers. They call us just because they want to earn a living. But then again, perhaps they could have chosen a much better time than during dinner?
Well, that's all for now. Until next time, take care everyone.
